Robbie Brawner Ouzts has extensive experience in recruiting, consulting, and career and professional development within the private sector, higher education, and non-profit organizations. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Coach (BCC), Certified Career Counselor (CCC), and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. Robbie also completed specialized training in the WorkLIFE Planning Workshop with the late Richard Bolles, author of What Color Is Your Parachute?
Robbie served as Director of Engagement and Student Professional Development at the University of North Georgia from 2022 to 2025, and at Georgia Tech from 2009 to 2021 as a Graduate Career Development Advisor, where she earned multiple honors for her outstanding service to graduate students. Her contributions have been recognized with the Institute-Wide Service Award and the Susan Cozens Administrator Award – “Friend of the Graduate Student,” presented by the Graduate Student Government Association.
Her prior experience includes roles as Associate Director of the Doctoral Scholars Program at the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), Assistant Dean and Director of Career Services at California State University, Fullerton, and Student Services Specialist at Irvine Valley College, Rancho Santiago Community College, and Delta State University.
An active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), National Career Development Association (NCDA), and Georgia Career Development Association (GCDA), Robbie has served as President, Past President, Program Chair, and Director-at-Large for GCDA. She has also contributed to the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers (GACE) and Georgia Tech’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) RESILIENCE Committee.
Now retired, Robbie continues part-time work as a therapist and remains committed to advancing professional development and lifelong learning through volunteer service with NCDA, AARP, and other community organizations.
