Lisa Conley, Ed.D. is the Director of Career Development at Oglethorpe University (OU). Lisa serves as a career counselor and coach for a diverse student population. She develops and facilitates career curriculum programs and assists students with career exploration and supports their pursuit of experiential learning opportunities in the Atlanta Laboratory for Learning (A_LAB) at OU. Prior to OU, Lisa was the Associate Director of Graduate Mentoring at Georgia State University (GSU), where she designed and launched the graduate mentoring program for the college of business. Before being in that role, Lisa was the Organizational Development Manager for the Board of Regents University System of Georgia (BOR/USG). Lisa directed all the Executive Leadership Institute program logistics and designed and executed successful executive leadership development programming across 26 institutions. She also designed and facilitated customized professional development plans for staff at the University System Office. Before serving at the BOR/USG, Lisa spent 13 years in administration at Georgia Tech overseeing programs in several divisions, including Executive Education, Professional Education, and Alumni Relations.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science from Clayton State University (CSU) and is the current President of the CSU Alumni Association. She earned her Master of Education in Human Resources and Organizational Development and Doctor of Education in Workforce Development from The University of Georgia.
