Brief Bio: Sonya is an experienced Human Resources Professional with a demonstrated history of working in various industries. A key partner to C-Suite leaders and a member of the Human Resources leadership team. Strategic business partner to Regional Executive leaders and responsible for leading a team of Human Resources Business Partners. Accountable for enabling the talent strategy and execution of all HR and talent programs. Collaborating across Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Career Development and other HR Centers of Excellence. Ensuring that all HR processes and programs are seamlessly executed and delivered with the appropriate business leaders.
She has served several non-profit organizations; one that offers safety, shelter, restores power and control to survivors and self-sufficiency for battered women and their children. In addition, she has served a non-profit organization that provides advocacy for child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. As well as a non-profit organization, that builds affordable housing for low-income families in dire need of adequate housing.
She has an MBA in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Human Resource Management from Eckerd College. Additionally, Sonya is a Certified Professional Career Coach, CPCC; a credential received from the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC). She received a certificate in Personal Development Coaching from the CAPP Institute. She is also a Certified Career Services Professional, CCSP; a credential received from the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
She is a wife and mother of adult twins: one boy and one girl. She enjoys going to spa, traveling, going to the movies and dining out with her husband and girlfriends. She is passionate about empowering people and helping them to be successful.
